DESCRIPTION:Strengthening Student-to-Student Discussions in Hybrid and Online Classrooms includes the following four modules: \n\nModule 1 (April 14) – Learn how to build conversation skills and design supported opportunities for all of your students to engage in discussions about academic content with diverse partners.\nModule 2 (April 21) – Learn how to facilitate acquisition of the academic language students need to effectively engage in discussions and how to monitor and guide those discussions.\nModule 3 (May 5) – Learn how to foster metacognition so that your students can keep their discussions on track and know what strategies to use when a discussion stalls.\nModule 4 (May 19) – Learn how to use the SOAR Teaching Frame to design lessons for traditional and hybrid classrooms.\n\nSessions will be held on Wednesdays from 12:30pm-3:00pm.  \nClick here for a flyer.
