DESCRIPTION:Why Attend? \nWith California Assembly Bill No. 438 (effective July 1\, 2025)\, IEP teams are now charged with considering if the student would benefit from measurable postsecondary goals and transition services as students enter high school rather than at age 16. This shift ensures earlier\, more effective postsecondary planning for students with exceptional needs. \nWhat to Expect?\nThis 4-part training series equips Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) to train secondary staff\, including middle school educators\, in developing and implementing meaningful ITPs.
