SUMMARY:Guiding the Journey: A Two Part Series for Parents and Caregivers Navigating Part C to Part B Transitions
DESCRIPTION:The first session\, scheduled for November 18\, 2025\, will focus on Part C of IDEA\, also known as Early Start\, which provides services for infants and toddlers from birth to age 2 years\, 11 months\, who have developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities. As a child approaches age three\, the early intervention team begins working with the family and local school district to plan a smooth transition to school district services under Part B. This session will cover what parents need to know about transition\, including assessments\, services\, the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)\, timelines\, and parent rights.
