SUMMARY:Universal Design for Learning (UDL): A Look at Early Childhood
DESCRIPTION:In this session\, participants will interactively explore how universally designed learning environments and experiences promote the development of positive social emotional skills and executive functions in early childhood settings while increasing inclusion. Practical strategies\, tools\, and examples will be shared to support participants with implementation in their own setting. \nLearning Objectives: \n1. Participants will be able to describe the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and explain how they support social-emotional development\, executive functioning\, and inclusive practices in early childhood settings. \n2. Participants will evaluate early childhood environments and experiences to identify how UDL principles are currently represented and where opportunities exist to better support diverse learners. \n3.Participants will identify and plan at least two actionable strategies or tools grounded in UDL that they can implement to enhance engagement\, accessibility\, and social-emotional learning in their own classrooms or programs. \nRegistration link \nPlease note: The California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) is not responsible for organizing\, managing\, or overseeing this event.
