SUMMARY:CCEE Presentation at American Education Research Association
DESCRIPTION:Assistant Director\, Julie Boesch\, will be co-presenting Scaling and Sustaining Community Schools Through Systems-Level Support at the 2023 American Education Research Association annual meeting. \n  \nHistoric investments\, at the federal and state levels\, are being made in community schools\, schools that partner with community organizations and families to integrate a range of opportunities and supports in order to nurture student learning\, development\, and wellbeing. These investments forecast increased implementation of community schools across the country; as a result\, education leaders must understand how to implement high-quality community schools in policy and practice. This session presents lessons learned from California\, a state with a rich history of community schools implementation.
