DESCRIPTION:Improvement science is a powerful tool for educators seeking to identify areas of improvement\, implement evidence-based interventions\, and measure progress. This course is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective change agents in their classrooms\, schools\, and districts\, and to make a positive impact on student learning and outcomes. \nThis course consists of three\, two-day online sessions and is open to public educators (districts\, charters\, SELPAs\, COEs and State Agencies) in California. Between sessions\, teams practice applying their learning with the support from SIL improvement facilitators. Organizations should plan to send teams of 2-4 participants that will work on a shared problem of practice.  The time commitment between sessions ranges from 5-10 hours. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our 2025-26 EXL Office Hours webpage! The California AfterSchool Network (CAN)\, in partnership with the California Department of Education (CDE) Expanded Learning Division (EXLD) and other members of the System of Support for Expanded Learning (SSEL)\, is co-hosting virtual Expanded Learning Office Hours this 2025-26 year\, in Fall\, Winter\, and Spring. \nAs we mentioned in our Summer 2025 EXL Office Hours\, as we continue to promote a comprehensive approach to Expanded Learning that supports children\, families\, and youth\, ELO-P Office Hours has evolved and will now be rebranded as EXL (Expanded Learning) Office Hours. The newly branded EXL Office Hours will continue to include ELO-P and now also encompass ASES and 21st CCLC programs. \nOffice Hours are on select Fridays from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM. The first approximately 30 minutes will be set aside to provide the latest updates on ELO-P\, ASES\, and 21st CCLC.
