SUMMARY:Introducing the CA IEP Forms
DESCRIPTION:Introducing the New California IEP Template: A one-hour overview of California’s newly released IEP template. \nCalifornia’s new IEP template emerges from years of statewide collaboration\, research\, and input from educational partners. It reflects a shared vision: the IEP as a student-centered\, strengths-driven process designed to improve long-term outcomes—not simply a compliance document. \nMore than a redesigned form\, the template represents a shift in practice. Grounded in California’s vision for inclusive\, outcomes focused systems\, it centers the student’s strengths\, preferences\, and goals while supporting meaningful participation from families\, educators\, and students themselves. \nRegistration link \nFlyer

SUMMARY:CAC Presentation: When Curriculum\, Instruction\, and Assessment Work Together: Fairfield-Suisun USD’s Journey Toward Coherence
DESCRIPTION:How do we help educators move beyond looking at data to using evidence of learning to improve instruction? While examining its assessment system\, Fairfield-Suisun USD uncovered a deeper challenge—and opportunity: a lack of shared understanding about how curriculum\, instruction\, and assessment work together to support student outcomes. This session shares how district leaders used collaborative inquiry and educator voice to strengthen coherence across their instructional system\, offering practical tools and lessons learned for other districts.

SUMMARY:CERA Presentation: Leading with Data: How District Leaders Lead Through Complexity to Advance Equity
DESCRIPTION:Educational leaders are expected to use data to advance equitable outcomes\, but what does it actually mean to lead with data? While technical data skills are essential\, data alone rarely determine a leader’s next decision. Through a panel discussion featuring district leaders from across California who participated in CCEE’s statewide Data Leadership course\, attendees will explore how leaders weigh competing considerations\, communicate difficult decisions\, and keep equitable outcomes at the forefront when there are no easy answers. Participants will leave with authentic examples from district leaders and practical strategies for strengthening data leadership in their own organizations.
