SUMMARY:Improvement Science Basics - Fall 2025
DESCRIPTION:Improvement science is a powerful tool for educators seeking to identify areas of improvement\, implement evidence-based interventions\, and measure progress. SUMMARY:Kindergarten Transition Assessments
DESCRIPTION:Believe it or not\, late fall is the best time to start planning for upcoming spring transitions in preschool. California Education Code 56455 requires that before moving a student from preschool to kindergarten\, a reassessment must be conducted to determine if they still require special education services. But with so many questions about assessments\, timelines\, and how Transitional Kindergarten (TK) impacts this process\, it can get confusing. \nDon’t worry—we’ve got you covered! \nJoin us for a no-cost\, virtual session designed to help IEP teams navigate this important transition with confidence. We’ll break down the intent behind the Education Code\, guiding you to make informed\, legally defensible\, child-centered decisions. You’ll walk away with essential tools\, including decision trees\, templates\, and answers to frequently asked questions. \nGet the clarity you need to support every child’s journey from preschool to elementary. \nClick here to access flyer. \nRegistration link.
