Assistant Director, State System of Support
Dr. Julie Boesch serves as the Assistant Director of the State System of Support for the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE). Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Chris Hartley, Julie leads the planning, facilitation, implementation management, and refinement for California's Statewide System of Support by working with CCEE staff, partner organizations, and other educational partners to facilitate and manage various initiatives comprising the System of Support. An important part of this role is the development of positive working relationships, dissemination of information and resources, supporting implementation of Statewide education initiatives, and monitoring progress by analyzing and evaluating data. Julie brings to this position over twenty years of experience in both the K-12 and University setting as a teacher, Adjunct Professor, Technical Assistance Provider, Principal, and over 8 years as a TK-8 District Superintendent. Her passions include Expanded Learning, Community School Development in the small, rural setting, Universal PK and Mentoring and Coaching Leaders. Julie's many passions related to education include her desire to consistently make decisions that ensure that ALL students have the ability to learn and grow, that all teachers are supported in being successful, that Expanded Learning Programs are supported and valued, and that Every Child has a safe place to learn. She also supports continued growth in a positive Community School Model and Universal Early Learning Programs for our earliest learners.
