Research Associate, Continuous Improvement
Amanda Otte is a Research Associate for the CCEE. In this role, she supports data collection and evaluation processes for CCEE initiatives designed to build capacity across the state in ways that will improve outcomes for students.
Prior to joining the CCEE, Otte served as a Research Associate for the Standards, Assessment, and Accountability Services program at WestEd. In this role, she provided research and content expertise to projects focused on the development and evaluation of early childhood assessments. She also facilitated meetings with stakeholder groups, supported professional development focused on building educator assessment literacy, and contributed to research and technical assistance projects for the Center on Standards & Assessment and Implementation.
Otte began her career in education as a teacher at Bing Nursery School at Stanford University and was a founding kindergarten teacher at Rocketship Mosaic Elementary in San Jose. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stanford University and her Master of Arts degree in Politics and Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
