Senior Manager, Communications & Outreach
Ana Tintocalis serves as the Senior Manager of Outreach and Communications for the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE). In this role, she manages media relations and strategic communications internally and externally for the agency.
Before her time with the CCEE, Tintocalis was an award-winning, veteran education journalist for KQED Public Radio in San Francisco, the Bay Area’s premier National Public Radio (NPR) member station where she produced in-depth, impactful and provocative education stories spanning the areas of K-12 to higher education in California.
Preceding her time in the Bay Area, Tintocalis also reported on education issues in San Diego and Imperial counties as the education journalist at KPBS Public Radio in San Diego. Tintocalis’ work has garnered the respect and recognition of key education stakeholders across the Golden State including parents, educators, legislators and – most importantly – students.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University, Long Beach.
