DESCRIPTION:Presentation to The Central Valley Education Coalition (CVEC) \nDate: Thursday\, April 11\, 2024 \nWe are excited to announce that our Executive Director will be presenting to The Central Valley Education Coalition (CVEC) this Thursday. The CVEC\, a prominent education advocacy group\, represents 128 public education organizations across Fresno\, Kings\, Madera\, Mariposa\, Merced\, and Tulare counties. \nAbout the CVEC: Formed in 2005 by county and district leaders\, the CVEC has been at the forefront of advocating for the educational needs of the Central Valley’s diverse student population. Its mission encompasses: \n\nFocusing on the diverse needs of Central Valley students\nPreparing every student for college and career success\nIncreasing graduation rates while reducing school dropouts\nEnsuring equality\, equity\, and full funding for schools\n\nThe CVEC plays a vital role in increasing the visibility of the Central Valley with policy makers in Sacramento\, advocating for strategic changes that provide the essential financial and programmatic tools needed to support our growing student population. \nLocation: Madera County Superintendent of Schools at 1105 S Madera Ave\, Madera\, CA 93637
