From July 8th to 19th, you’ll have the opportunity to recharge after the spring semester while immersing yourself in professional development. You’ll have the chance to reflect on the past year and access valuable resources to help you excel in the upcoming fall semester.
The California Native American Studies Model Curriculum (NASMC) will support the design and development oflesson plans, primary source documents, planning resources, teaching strategies, and professional development activities to assist educators in teaching about California Native American Studies.
The Office of Administrative Hearings and federal courts have remained active during 2022, ruling on numerous important special education issues. This workshop provides an overview of several important recent cases and why they matter to special educators. The session also highlights newsworthy legal developments affecting special education in California, as well as need-to-know "hot topics" on the legal forefront for special education staff.
