Community Engagement 1.0
The Community Engagement Initiative bolsters the System of Support by promoting authentic district engagement and contributing to LCAP development.
Community Engagement 2.0
The Community Engagement Initiative Expansion boosts involvement, standardizes metrics, and strengthens CCEE's alignment with the statewide support system through intensive training.
Dylexia Initiative
In 2020, the Sacramento County Office of Education led the California Dyslexia Initiative, emphasizing collaboration, communication, and alignment with statewide efforts.
Early and Expanded Learning
The CDE, CCEE, and county offices support California's LEAs with resources and training focusing on early and expanded learning environments, staff development and student supports in TK-12 education.
Equity Lead - San Diego
This document aligns equity efforts with California's LCFF priorities and School Dashboard, emphasizing educator investment for our students' future.
Equity Lead - Santa Clara
The Ways 2 Equity Playbook, a navigational tool for districts and school sites to use on their equity journey, was launched by Santa Clara County Office of Education in September 2020.
Coalition for Inclusive Learning (SPED EWIG)
Assembly Bill 181, Section 124, dedicates $10 million from the EWIG for professional development in universal design for learning, aiming to enhance inclusive practices for all students, especially those with disabilities, in general education settings.
Universal Design for Learning (EWIG)
EWIG funds training in universal design for learning to improve inclusivity for all students, particularly those with disabilities, in general education.
Leadership Institute
CCEE and SSDA's Leadership Institute jointly enhance small district leadership through skills training, capacity building, and networking for better student and community service.
Open Door Sessions
CCEE and partners host "Open Door" events highlighting innovative practices, enabling district staff to share insights statewide, with detailed online resources.
Systems Leadership Learning Network

Universal PreKindergarten
CCEE, with SCCOE, created a tool to help LEAs navigate funding options and provided an extensive resource hub on Universal PreKindergarten.
