Melissa Hodgson serves as the Senior Specialist for the Statewide System of Support (SSOS) within the Center for Transformative Systems for Equitable Educational Outcomes (TSEE). In this role, she is a hands-on point person who provides
executive-level, program, and project support, working closely with Deputy Executive Director Mindy Fattig to manage and coordinate statewide initiatives.
Melissa leads and supports a wide range of projects from conception to completion, with a deep understanding of the SSOS and a priority to align with California’s Statewide System of Support. She facilitates project planning and implementation, manages complex schedules and timelines with internal and external partners. With expertise in communications, event and meeting facilitation, and strategic project management, she ensures that efforts remain integrated, efficient, and focused on equitable outcomes for all students.
Melissa holds a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor's in Geology from Cal Poly Humboldt. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two boys, husband, and dog.
