Melissa serves as the Senior Specialist for the Statewide System of Support within the Center for Transformative Systems for Equitable Educational Outcomes (TSEE). In this role, she plays a key part in supporting statewide initiatives across the state. She collaborates closely with Deputy Executive Director Dr. Chris Hartley and Senior Advisor Mindy Fattig to manage and coordinate several projects within the Statewide System of Support.
With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, Melissa works to ensure that all initiatives are integrated, focusing on creating sustainable, and impactful change. Her dedication to the ongoing development of educational support systems ensures that every project she touches contributes to meaningful progress in the pursuit of equitable outcomes for all students.
Melissa holds a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor's in Geology from Cal Poly Humboldt. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two boys, husband, and dog.
