Richie Flores

System of Support Community Engagement Initiative
Richie Flores is a Program Specialist with the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence, where he supports the Transformative System for Equitable Educational Outcomes team. He works closely with both the Statewide System of Support (SSOS) and the Community Engagement Initiative (CEI).

With a career dedicated to education, Richie brings a range of experience in K-12 public school systems, encompassing both site-level roles and district office functions. Furthermore, his background includes over a decade in higher education at UC Santa Barbara. His most recent role was with the Title I office for Whittier Union High School District, where he managed federal expenditures and promoted student community engagement in conjunction with college and career services.

In his free time, Richie enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and their dog Bentley, exploring new places with family, and traveling-especially to discover new food. He's a dedicated fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Rams. Richie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is a current graduate student at Purdue University.
