The California Department of Education, in consultation with the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence, awarded $9.8 million to Contra Costa County Office of Education to develop and provide professional learning to educators in public schools serving K-12 students, and to strengthen reading instruction for all pupils in a manner that aligns with the Statewide System of Support and the California Comprehensive State Literacy Plan. CCEE is leading the external evaluation of this project.
