CCEE at the California Attendance Guidance Press Conference

The California Department of Education (CDE) hosted a press conference to announce the release of the California Attendance Guide, a resource highlighting best practices and lessons learned to reduce chronic absenteeism and support student engagement statewide.

As a member of the Statewide Chronic Absenteeism Working Group, CCEE’s Deputy Executive Director, Sujie Shin, participated in the event and shared insights on strategies to improve attendance and strengthen family engagement.
