Kindergarten Transition Assessments

This informative session will explore effective and developmentally appropriate assessment practices that support successful transitions from preschool to Kindergarten for young children with disabilities. Participants will examine how assessment data can be used collaboratively to inform instructional planning, support continuity across settings, and ensure children and families experience meaningful and supported transitions into Kindergarten environments. This training will highlight practical strategies for gathering, interpreting, and sharing assessment information in ways that promote collaboration between preschool and Kindergarten teams while centering the strengths and needs of each child.
