The topic for this month’s MLLN Commons is around Resource Sharing and Calibration. We often hear the question, “Do you have an example from another district for…?” LEAs will have a chance to discuss and share with one another their practices and processes around topics such as: – Reclassification criteria and rates – Designated ELD and how it is offered in elem/MS/HS and for dually identified students – Stats like: % of dually identified students, opt out %, % ELs with ELPAC 4s not reclassified – ELD Curriculum in elem/MS/HS, for newcomers and LTELs – SIS systems and ML data management – EL Master Plans – OPTEL implementation plans – RDRS screener used and alternative process for MLs – Progress Monitoring processes – Process for collecting evidence for HLS correction of classification – and others Bring questions and resources you have to share with others.
