2023-2024 CDI LETRS
The Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Statewide Community of Practice (CoP) is part of the California Dyslexia Initiative (CDI). We will build common language, knowledge, and expertise around teaching reading/language arts through this Statewide LETRS CoP to ultimately increase reading proficiency for students across California. LETRS professional development is a blended learning series designed to provide educators with the background, depth of knowledge, and tools to teach language and literacy to all students. The course bridges deep, meaningful research into practical classroom success using text, online modules, and training over a two-year period.
