DESCRIPTION
Dr. McKenna presented a 75-minute session on Universal Design for Learning to general and special education teachers as part of the California Teacher Association’s 2022 Special Education Conference, held September 29th-October 2nd in Burlingame, CA. The presentation focused on the foundational principles, necessary mindsets, and suggested first steps for teachers to begin implementing Universal Design for Learning in their classrooms.
