Patricia Fernandez
Administrative Assistant II
Contact:
Patricia Fernandez serves as an Administrative Assistant II for the CCEE.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Child Development through Sacramento State University; however, her primary focus has been family and community. She started her career as an administrative assistant at a private school in San Francisco. After a few years, she decided to work with families and communities to provide them with the necessary resources to thrive. Patricia then spent several years working in Case Management with a few Bay Area nonprofits. One of her most memorable positions was working as an Educational Coordinator at a Middle School in which she assisted students and their families with resources and tutoring sessions. She also assisted with coordinating resource fairs and cultural events for the school site.
After a few years of working directly with families and communities she redirected her career to health care. Starting as an Access Operations Agent at Stanford Health Care she assisted patients in connecting with their providers. After a few years, she then accepted a promotional opportunity as a Patient Care Coordinator with a Specialty Care clinic in which she worked closely with a medical team and managed one of the Doctor’s schedules along with coordinating patient treatment plans.
Patricia and her family have recently moved to West Sacramento. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, outdoor activities and building Legos with her toddler. She is excited to have joined the CCEE team and to once again assist in promoting educational excellence to all students.
