CCEE at CA UDL Summit: Why, What, and How – Options for Addressing Barriers to UDL Implementation

In this interactive session, TextHelp’s Cori Brooks and CCEE’s James McKenna will guide participants to:

Find their Why’s:

• Uncover Connections between Implementing Universal Design for Learning  and advancing existing efforts
• Explore the Why UDL Series and discuss how it can be used to engage stakeholders

Align to What:

• Discuss core elements (what UDL is, and what it is not)

Make plans for How:

• Identify common barriers to implementation
• Explore resources and generate options to address barriers, including  the UDL Journey Guide and learning paths for teachers and administrators

Finally, Cori and James will engage participants in a 2-way Q&A to identify potential Supports to meet the needs of the field.
