There have many snazzy updates to Google Classroom and Google Sites. This hands-on session will show you how to jazz up your Google Classroom to add engagement tools for students. Have you always wanted to build a Google Site for your class? We'll build one together and cover all the engaging options Sites has to offer including student portfolios. Target Audience: Administrators and others in leadership positions supporting Transitional Kindergarten as part of the UPK System. Plan ahead for next school year as TK implementation moves forward! Keynote Speaker: Dr. Julie Nicholson will discuss how school leaders can become effective early learning leaders supporting the power of play, joy, and engagement for their youngest learners. Understanding and Supporting Child and Adolescent Grief

Often, experienced and developing clinicians find that supporting someone who is grieving can be overwhelming, confusing, and anxiety provoking. This course aims to make assessing, treating, and talking about grief understandable and reduce anxiety about difficult conversations. This course provides a fundamental overview of understanding grief in children and adolescents. Additionally, this course will provide concrete examples of techniques and tools that can be used for individual and group support in school-based settings. Finally, this course aims to support the clinician to feel more competent and comfortable with supporting others in grief and avoiding compassion fatigue.
