ELOP Tech Bootcamp is an innovative program designed to provide educators with the skills and knowledge to incorporate robotics, coding, 3D printing, and Makerspace technology into their classrooms and afterschool extended learning programs. Hands-on training allows participants to gain the practical experience and confidence necessary to create engaging, project-based lessons that promote student learning and exploration.

This 3-day institute will focus on how to support the development of young readers and improve reading outcomes for all learners. Participants will engage in content from the Getting Reading Right modules created by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE). Evidence-based strategies, tools, and resources will be shared to support both assessment and instruction.

Delve into the four research-based toolkits shown to foster active learning, engagement, and mathematical thinking in any classroom setting. Explore how to integrate the 3 Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Signature Practices into your routines, and how they can help you fine tune your thinking classroom by enhancing student belonging and motivation. Twice in this series, you will participate in a team-driven Task Study utilizing summer school classrooms. Deepen your understanding of the macro & micro moves found in the (BTC) practices so that you can apply them in your own classroom.
